Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway Park







Protecting and interpreting the natural and cultural resources of the Potomac, the foundation maintains National Colonial Farm, an 18th-century tobacco farm with heirloom crops and heritage breed animals, and the Ecosystem Farm, and experimental organic vegetable farm using sustainable land practices. Other features of the park include six walking trails, the museum garden, Native Tree Arboretum, Wild Fowl Pond, and the Potomac, the nation's heritage river.

Hours: Daily year-round, dawn to dusk. Visitor Center open mid-March to mid-December, Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Guided tours on weekends at 1 and 3 pm
