Patuxent Rural Life Museums


The Patuxent
Rural Life Museums are educational, outdoor living history museums
dedicated to preserving the rural heritage of southern Prince George's
County. The museums and farm buildings include the W. Henry Duvall Tool
Museum, a Blacksmith and Farrier Shop, the Charles Duckett Freedman's
Log Cabin, a meathouse, an outhouse, a kitchen garden, and a 1923 Sears
Simplex House.
Hours: Saturdays and Sundays April through October and by
appointment.
